8 Months of Bresnan

I figured I need to blog Bresnan's 8 month pictures before I post his 9 month 

pictures in two weeks!   Luckily I took the pictures at the beginning of this month,

 I am just behind on posting them!

Bryn had to get in the mix.  I love that amid the chaos, his face is clear!

I'm coming Mumma!

Bresnan is on the move now.  He is army crawling everywhere, has gotten to his knees crawling between 5-10 steps, and is upright all the time.  Here are a couple pictures of "new tricks" I have discovered over the past month.

Fall time in Michigan

The kids and I were able to fly back up to Michigan for about 10 days the end

 of September and beginning of October (Brian went on two boys trips).  The 

weather was warmer than expected, but beautiful.  We were able to spend

 lots of time with friends and do some fun fall activities.

We met the Cousineau family at the Varner house to pick some pumpkins from the garden.

She caught several fish, it was WAY too easy!

A few days later we were at Turmells and Bryn found....LEAVES!

The leaves don't fall in Florida.

 Bresnan didn't enjoy them

 but Bryn did!

 There were lots of apples on the apple trees.  And the branches were just her height!

Bryn decided to have a dance party with her bear and, yep, 

nothing but a tutu and ballet shoes!  Gotta love that girl!

 Bresnan is crawling - army style - everywhere.  And although he has 4 teeth, he is still slobbering!  It was a two drip moment!

I went on my dad's 11 mile bike route and found this nice spot to take a few pictures of the kids.  It was drizzling and I was alone and in a hurry, so this is what we got...

It was a great visit, but now it is time to go back to Florida!

Bresnan is 7 Months

Ok, so he is 7 1/2 months, but I took these at his 7 month date!  We were still

 in Michigan, so we are sticking with the adirondack chair.

 At 7 months, he is weighing 17 lbs, can sit up well on his own, and

 is army crawling everywhere!  He is still a happy boy and is loving being 

able to play with everything on the floor!

 Caught this one and thought it was funny!   Related?  Bryn was eating and Bresnan is chewing on his finger, but neither are looking at me :)

The end of Michigan summer

Another Michigan summer has come to an end.  We had a wonderful 3 months.  The

 last few weekends we got to have some visitors come and stay with us.   The first

 were Brian's college buddies and their families, the Robinsons and Lehmans.

Unfortunately I didn't have my camera around too much - I know there is lots on

 other people's iPhones.  We had a great weekend of boating, bouncing, beaching,

 laughing, and drinking.  Can't wait to do it again next summer!

A few weekends later my cousins came up for Labor Day weekend.  It was another great weekend of outside fun!  We played corn hole, went tubing and wakeboarding, paddle boarding, and just hung out.  The kids were great together!

seemed so grown up with her own backpack on!

I took the kids to the beach one night to take pictures.  I wasn't looking at the photos when I was taking them, only trying to get the kids to cooperate...but I think I got some good ones :)
