Christmas Time at Disney

We were given seasonal Disney passes for an early Christmas gift and decided to spend a few days at the parks and a couple nights at a hotel for a stay-cation for Brian's birthday.  We started out at Hollywood Studios, then Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom.

We love the Osbourne Family Lights at Hollywood Studios.
Bryn isn't trained on posing yet...
Checking it all out

The next morning we headed to Animal Kingdom and walked right onto the safari ride.
Bryn was glued to her surroundings!

We found a small playground with ropes and slides to take a break and play for a few minutes.  Bryn found these big dinosaur footprints that "roar" when you stomp them!

At the end of night two, Bryn wanted to sit with Goofy before we left -
Bresnan was out for the night!

The big thing was meeting all the characters and princesses and getting their autographs.
The first time Bryn met Mickey, she didn't want to get in line, but when it was our turn she walked right up and talked with him.  The last character we saw was Mickey at Magic Kingdom and this time he talked!  We were so surprised!!!  And Bresnan's favorite was Minnie, he was trying to get away from me to get to her!  So funny!

Our Trip to Michigan and Bryn's 3rd Birthday!

We headed back to Michigan for Thanksgiving and were able to spend about almost 10 days there.  It was really cold for the first few days and made us all grateful for Florida weather that we can play outside all the time in!  But, we did make it outside a few days.

We had two FSU game days in Michigan.
Bresnan and Brian relaxing on the couch together.

 Cold weather wear

And in no time the hat is off and he' s on the move

Bresnan loves the tunnel.  The bib is a MUST as he is a drooler and constantly teething, the count is at 6 for 10 months - way too many!

We made it outside to play in the little amount of snow that stuck.
Bryn was still very excited about it all!  Here is our miniature snowman.

She loved the giant icicles hanging from our neighbor's steps
She took her trike out for a spin but quickly learned about traction in the snow.
On Thanksgiving all the cousins were playing outside and Bryn got to enjoy two seasons of fun - jumping in leaf piles and playing in snow!  (Notice the box in the road, the kids were using it as a sled and pushing each other in it down the road.  Who needs sleds?  Brian thought they were being rednecks :)
Bryn and Hanna...or what we can see of Hanna
We made it back and Brian got a chance to play outside with Bryn while Bresnan and I stayed inside.  Brian learned something new, he tried to build a snowman like mine, but couldn't.  The Florida boy never knew there are different types of snow and sometimes snow won't pack together.

Bryn got to celebrate her 3rd birthday in Michigan.  We started off with breakfast and opening presents with Papa, Me, and Aunt Cheryl.
Once she saw presents, she couldn't wait!

In the afternoon we went bowling.  We were lucky to have
Norah and Stephanie and Turmells come too.
 checking out the scoreboard
 Norah and Stephanie
 Birthday Girl!
Silly faces are a new favorite thing to do
 So scary!

Her cookie cake (that she already dug into)!
Bresnan even got a turn to roll a ball

We headed back to Florida and had a family dinner to celebrate Bryn's birthday.
Another cookie cake with loads of frosting and Dora and Diego
from last year's cake added on at the last minute.
 Making a wish

She even let Bresnan help a little bit.
Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us!

Festival of Trees

A few weeks before Thanksgiving we went to the Festival of Trees in Orlando with Nana, Me, Aunt Alicia, Heather, and the kids.  We went last year and the girls had so much fun, so we decided to do it again.  The Santa there is so good with the kids - and there is NO line!  I took Bresnan up first as Bryn was a little hesitant, but before she knew what was going on she was sitting on his lap.  He is the only Santa we will see each season!

After the Santa visit, the girls got to get their faces painted.

backtracking a few weeks...FSU game

So, Brian is a HUGE Florida State Seminoles football fan (somedays HUGE is an understatement)!  Since I have known him I have thought that he was just living in his college days of National Champions because he would always have such high hopes and I never would see the team live up to the hype....until this year....  So, after a weekend in Tallahassee with his boys he decided to become a Booster, get season tickets, and we would rent a RV to take our family and the Robinsons to a game.

Cole and Bryn checking out the RV.  Bryn was so excited about it all day and was ready to go when Cole got here.  But after only a few minutes on the road it was easy to see this was a great way to travel 4 hours with the kids!
The next morning was cold when we walked to Brooklyn Water Bagel for breakfast (Brian's new favorite spot)  We found this cool Seminole tribute.
 Bresnan's first tailgate

 Bryn's first tailgate
 Debbie and Cole
Brian found these shorts when we shopped in the morning and LOVED them!  I was just glad he didn't want the pant version....he did get constant compliments on them and saw one other guy at a nearby RV with them also.  So now this is his new game day attire.
We sent the boys on a mission to get tickets from Will Call and hoped they returned with napping children....well, I got my wish!  Cole was so funny trying to get that helmet on!
Go Noles!

Pumpkins and Halloween

We headed to pick out our pumpkins the day before Halloween.  With the heat of Florida, we learned last year to wait to get our pumpkin and carve it just before Halloween so that it doesn't rot!  Bryn was already in part of her costume from costume day at gymnastics.
 She searched the whole lot
This bumpy one was her favorite - she liked these last year too!
Bresnan just liked to try to eat the straw
 scarecrow Bryn
 Digging in right away
 New meaning of double-fisting
 No guts, no glory
Bresnan got in the mix.  These pictures were literally seconds apart!

And he's off to something new.  Loved the seed on his butt!
We used a paper pattern this year to carve our pumpkin.

Proud baby girl and her awesome cat pumpkin

On Halloween we decided  to paint the other little pumpkins we bought.
Bresnan couldn't keep his hands out of the blue.
Had to keep the pacifier in his mouth so he wouldn't eat it!
I am not sure if more paint was on their bodies or the pumpkins!

We got ready for Halloween.  Bryn was Tinkerbell and Bresnan was a football.
 Trick or Treat
They really do think each other is funny
 scary faces!

I gave Bryn a handful of glitter to use as pixie dust.  Here is her jumping!

You can see it falling on her head :)

Our happy family - and Marley came and sat with us without being called!
