The last part of our California trip was the MetLife part in Palm Desert. We were done sightseeing, driving, and making decisions…now it was time to play at the pool and have every meal ready for us when we walk into the banquet hall!
The photographer came up to us because we looked like we were in chaos…nope, just traveling with kids!

The hotel had five bird cages in the lower lobby. Bryn loved looking at each of the birds, learning their names, and the things they could say and do.

The hotel had a boat you could take to different parts of the property. Back in the 90s it was used for an episode of Saved by the Bell. So of course we had to take the tour. Luckily I didn't push Brian into the water like Lisa did to Screech :)

There was a small putt-putt course we took the kids to before dinner on the last night.

The last night was very fun with a carnival theme; lots of games,
great food, and a ferris wheel.
We sat with a family with kids close in age to ours.
The girls got along great and the parents were very nice.
It was a perfect evening!

It was a GREAT trip! I couldn't have asked it to go any better and we were so lucky to have my parents go with us to help with the kids and enjoy the trip.
