Bresnan is 7 Months

Ok, so he is 7 1/2 months, but I took these at his 7 month date!  We were still

 in Michigan, so we are sticking with the adirondack chair.

 At 7 months, he is weighing 17 lbs, can sit up well on his own, and

 is army crawling everywhere!  He is still a happy boy and is loving being 

able to play with everything on the floor!

 Caught this one and thought it was funny!   Related?  Bryn was eating and Bresnan is chewing on his finger, but neither are looking at me :)

The end of Michigan summer

Another Michigan summer has come to an end.  We had a wonderful 3 months.  The

 last few weekends we got to have some visitors come and stay with us.   The first

 were Brian's college buddies and their families, the Robinsons and Lehmans.

Unfortunately I didn't have my camera around too much - I know there is lots on

 other people's iPhones.  We had a great weekend of boating, bouncing, beaching,

 laughing, and drinking.  Can't wait to do it again next summer!

A few weekends later my cousins came up for Labor Day weekend.  It was another great weekend of outside fun!  We played corn hole, went tubing and wakeboarding, paddle boarding, and just hung out.  The kids were great together!

Out for a walk - this was Michigan's first day of school and she 
seemed so grown up with her own backpack on!

I took the kids to the beach one night to take pictures.  I wasn't looking at the photos when I was taking them, only trying to get the kids to cooperate...but I think I got some good ones :)

Papa, I love you THIS much!!!

Papa and Me went on a motorcycle trip this summer and Papa came back

 with t-shirts for both kids.  They were both perfect for the kids.  Bryn told me one day that her shirt says she loves Papa, and I don't love Papa because I don't have a shirt that says it...

This is fitting because Papa is, and always has been, insistent on telling the kids he loves them and he was the one to teach Bryn to say, "love you too"!

Bryn's says, "I'd rather be hangin' with Papa" and most often that is true!

Bresnan's says, "Papa's little buddy" and we call Bresnan "buddy" a lot. 

 And you should see his smile when he sees his papa!

New adventures

Bryn learned how to run the bases this summer and wants to do it everyday 

since our running route is right past the baseball fields.

 Bryn wanted to ride her tractor to Papa and Me's house.  

Either she has become a Huron County girl or she is ready for a bike...

Bresnan has started eating food.  He has been a good eater so far, but messy!  

Although not as messy as Bryn was!!
