Catching up...

 I have let the blog be at the bottom of my list...my long list!  But a weight has been taken off my shoulders as I have finished my final class for my masters degree.   I will now have a Masters of Education in Early Childhood Education with a specialization in handicapped prekindergarten.  This is something I have wanted since student teaching and now I just have to use it....someday in a classroom and everyday with my own kids!

So, backtracking a little, here are a few pictures from the past month!

Florida's rainy season has started and Bryn discovered that she loves 

playing in the rain.  The umbrella only lasted so long before she found 

the spots where rain came pouring off the roof.

 yep, I let her be that girl for a minute before taking her naked self inside!

Luckily it is warm here!

This was the second time Bresnan fell asleep in the laundry basket.  This time I think it was due to the white noise of the dryer.  He is a sleepy boy!

Bryn discovered a new way to paint.  Put golf balls in small tubs of paint and transfer

 them to a pan lined with paper.  Then tilt the pan to create your masterpiece.

 Anger? Frustration?   I think she gets that from her dad, 

he gets mad at his golf balls too!

 We walk Marley everyday and now there are lots of wildflowers along our route.  Bryn requests them by color and also leaves and rocks.   Here are the day's collection.

3 Months

 On a trip to Costco we discovered this big dog.  

Bryn loved it and it works better for pictures!

Happy Easter!

Earlier in the month we had an opportunity to have some pictures 

taken with some bunnies and chicks for spring.  Here are a few!

Bryn was excited Easter morning about finding her eggs.  Luckily she had practice finding the gold coins the leprechaun left and she was good at spotting them around the house.

All she wanted from the Easter Bunny was a jump rope (not sure where 

that came from!) but luckily she got a few more things too!

Disney and Reading

Two weekends ago we had friends come into town to stay at Disney.  We decided to make it a small "stay-cation" for us and we went to a hotel for two nights also.  We met up with Todd, Debbie, and Cole Robinson for dinner and then a few Disney parks the next day.

 While the Dad's waited in line for tickets, the kids and the mom's rode the monorail.  Gotta love the age when they are happy to sit and look out the window!  Bryn was so relaxed!

One of the highlights of the day was when the kids got to drive the cars.

 Where are Bryn and Cole?  All I see are parents!

 There she is!  Watch out, she can drive, but she can't see!

 Magic Kingdom was crazy with spring breakers, so we headed to Epcot and the Flower and Garden Festival.  Bryn was mad that I wouldn't let her in the flower bed to touch Goofy!

She did love the fairies in the butterfly garden!

For the festival, they had a small playground set up with the Cars theme.

It was a good day and weekend even with no naps!

One month, St. Patricks Day, and MORE

Bresnan is now one month old...okay, so he is almost 6 weeks old, but I did take pictures of him at one month with the same bear we used for Bryn's pictures.  Here are a few!

We were counting down to St. Patricks Day and had done a few crafts and read 
some books.   So, when Bryn woke up and a gold coin was on her bedspread, 
she knew that a leprechaun had been to her house!  Luckily he did not make a 
mess because Mumma didn't have much time to clean up after him!!

 I was doing laundry one day and Bresnan fell asleep on the way from our
 bathroom to the washer and dryer!  He looked so cozy that I didn't want to move him.

 In the past 6 weeks there have been several times when I have gone to put
 Bryn down for a nap and have woken up to all three of us sleeping in her bed.  
Twice I have woken up to Bryn sleeping and holding Bresnan's hand!  
One of my favorite moments!

That's a little better

I was cooking dinner one day and Bryn found a fish that swims in water in 

her toys.  I filled up the kitchen sink and let her play with it.  When she got bored

 I looked for other activities for her to do in the sink....food coloring to mix colors

 was my solution...what harm could be done?

 She sticks her tongue out when she concentrates, just like her Mumma!

 Colors, colors everywhere!  Except in the containers :)
